The Hitachi DZ-MV780A DVD Camcorder records digital video and still images onto removable 8cm DVD-RAM and DVD-R discs. This results in images that you can play back thousands of times with virtually no degradation of picture quality. A 1.3 megapixel CCD captures video and stills in high resolution recordings, while the camera's SD/MMC slot allows for up to 50 stills to be snapped in 1280 x 960 resolution onto a 32MB SD card. Small and streamlined, the DZ-MV780A also boasts a 7-second start-up time, Hot Shoe, 16:9 recording mode, and a simplified menu system.
